Mamolen Residence
Overview
The Mamolen residence is located at 1000 Venetian on the Venetian causeway.
Two units were combined to create a single apartment that occupies the entire floor of the east tower. The reconfiguration and combining of the units provide a spectacular 360 degree view across Miami and the beaches. The existing location of windows and sliding doors could not be adapted to meet the initial project requirements.
Therefore, careful planning of the new spaces were critical to ensure that each bedroom and living area received natural light and access to the deep balconies that wrap the residence.
The final project included 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. A simple, minimal material palette was elected by the owner. The interior spaces are clean and uncluttered and push the eye to the breathtaking views beyond the interior.
